Natural Puerto Vallarta

In this beautiful area can be found at least 79 species of animals, grouped into 29 families.  Abundant are populations of Fiddler Crab, Moor Crab, and Blue Crab.  Birdwatchers will be glad to learn of the diverse species of birds that can be seen in the area, including but not limited to:  White Heron, Buzzard, Black Buzzard, Red Tipped Yaguasa Duck, Small White Heron, Drop Hammer/Heron Witch, Cormorants, Sparrows, Neotropical Cormorant, Great Kiskadee, White Faced Ibis, and Owl.  The Quelele Lagoon forms a natural migratory station for many birds, so many other different birds will also visit during different times of the year.  Come discover!
